Digital Display in 1°C Increments

You can confirm the set temperature at a glance by digital display.
Temperature can be set in 1°C increments from 200°C to 500°C with the UP key and DOWN key.

Quick Startup and Excellent Heat Recovery

The high-power ceramic heater takes about 30 seconds to reach the set temperature of 350°C. (when using a standard soldering iron tip)
With a high-power heater and sensor, there is almost no temperature fluctuation during heavy-duty continuous operation.
Work time has been reduced by approx. 30% compared to the conventional model PX-501 (Compared with our company).

Smart Functions for Safe, Secure Soldering

SLEEP

When iron is not used during preset time, it automatically lowers tip temperature to avoid tip-burn.
Sleeping frequently will greatly increase the life of the soldering tip.
Can be used with SHUTDOWN function.

SLEEP FUNCTION RELEASE

SLEEP can be quickly released by vibration sensor built into the grip.
In SLEEP mode, a light touch on the soldering iron releases it from sleep and returns it to the soldering temperature.

SHUTDOWN

When the iron is not used during the preset time, it automatically shuts down.
Temperature is displayed as temperature drops.
Saves electricity, and prevents accidents.
*To use it again, press any button or turn the power switch ON again.

KEY LOCK

Lock with password. No tools or cards necessary.
This function locks data settings by entering the PIN code. Unauthorized personnel cannot make changes.

Calibration

Digitally calibrates the difference between the set temperature and the tip temperature as measured by tip thermometer.

Please use PX-28RT/PX-28T series as replacement tips.
Precision-manufactured and inspected in our own Hiroshima factory.

Tips for Insert Nuts

For inserting into moldings or 3D printer modelings.

Please set your temperature for your specific resin, shape, and insert nut size.
The recommended temperature is +100°C from the melting point of the resin.

Changing the Tip

Unscrew the Collar to remove Barrel and Tip. Assemble in the reverse order.

〈CAUTION〉Before changing the tip, unplug the soldering iron, and wait until the tip and surrounding parts have cooled down.

〈CAUTION〉When replacing the soldering tip, make sure that the pipe inside has not come loose and stuck to the heater surface.
If the pipe is stuck, remove it. A stuck pipe may cause the heater to short-circuit and break down.

Changing the Heater

1. Loosen the adapter fixing screw using a screwdriver.
2. Slightly turn the adapter counterclockwise and remove it. Disconnect the two
connectors as in the picture.
3. Replace the heater and assemble by reversing the disassembly procedure.
4. We recommend that you do temperature calibration before use.

Recommended Soldering Iron Stand ST-27 (Sold separately)

・It weighs about 480 g and has a rubber sheet on the bottom to prevent it from falling over unexpectedly.
・The angle of the socket can be adjusted by loosening the screws on either side.
・Prevent burns. Tip is safely covered!
