Signal Recording Start module for minisumo and sumo robot projects. You can use any type SONY remotes with smart MicroStart. Easier than use to robots with two leds (Red Led Stop, Blue Led Start).
Micro start module for sumo robot and mini sumo robot projects. It is very versatile with easy usage.

How to Use MicroStart?
- Open the robot while Microstart is attached to suitable pins (Any digital pin is Ok)
- First you need to record release, start and stop signals of remote (Three different buttons, three signals)
- Push the MicroStart’s white button 1 second, module will pass the recording mode (Both LEDs will slowly blink 3 times)
- Push the first button of remote (It will be release – unlock button) First led (RED LED) will light up.
- Wait 1-2 seconds. That step is important.
- Push the second button of remote (It will be Start button) second led (Blue LED) will light up.
- Wait 1-2 seconds again.
- Push the third button of remote (It will be Stop button). Both led will blink fastly 4 times and turn off.
- Now MicroStart is ready for receiving signal.

Suitable with our XMotion, Genesis, Wing and Easyboard controllers. Also suitable with your controllers (Arduino, mBed, Arm, Atmel, Pic…) module proved it’s good compatibility with 3.3V and 5V MCUs.
